He started his fitness journey as a 9 year old playing academy football. He achieved many awards in his time there but his progress was halted due to a major accident, in which he suffered serious injuries including braking his 4 lower vertebrae.

Zack has worked alongside and been trained by  sportsmen such as Dwain Chambers, Rueben Taberes, David Haye, Daniel Sam and many others.
